Suzann Christine: Spiritual, Unique, Divine, Artistic and Thankful
Bright, Inspirational, Diverse, Unique are just a few words to describe Philly's own recording artist SUZANN CHRISTINE. She is most definitely not to be looked over. Since the age of five, Suzann began singing in her church choir but didn't realize she had a voice until the age of 10 when her choir director had given her Rita Watson's solo which was played by singer and songwriter Lauryn Hill's from Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit. Every since Suzann has been blessing everyone with her joyful yet soulful voice. Suzann began taking her career to the next level when she came up with her stage name around 2008/2009, which combines her first and middle name. She also decided to quit her full time job four years ago. Shortly after that Suzann was booked for the Radio One Festival in 2012. Held in Miami, Florida, this is where she had a chance to open up for singers and rappers such as Rick Ross, Monica, Wale & Melanie Fiona. This Philly native describes herself and her music as being universal, uplifting, happy and encouraging. Let's not forget soulful. This songbird believes her music is a superpower and has the ability to change people's moods, whether it's making them happy or cry. Suzann is not only an amazing singer, songwriter but she also has a nonprofit organization called, SCH CREATIVE & PERFORMING ARTS, an organization for the youth that incorporates arts. Besides focusing on her music she has dedicated the last four years of her life into the progress of her organization.
Luckily it doesn't end there, Suzann is also responsible for the acronym SUDAT!, a name she came up with that describes her. It stands for "Spiritual, Unique, Divine, Artistic & Thankful." All of these words truly describe her. This young lady has three singles on iTunes already. Adrenaline Rush, 21 and I Just Wanna Live, which all have the ability to make you feel amazing. Her message in each song is clear and strong. Each song concept stems from life journeys or simple just hearing a track. These are no downers, just upbeat "make you feel good" music.Suzann is definitely someone to look out for with her witty, upbeat, passionate and can-do attitude. This young woman is sure to go far and gain national exposure.
To download any of Suzann's tracks mentioned above go to iTunes or Soundcloud for her latest single Where Did The Love Go, which is one of my favorites. The message behind this one is one that all African Americans are facing now with being gunned down & treated different because of the color of our skin. So listen up this is one to surely give you goosebumps.
