We are back at it again, this week with our mini-series of skin care tips to help your skin flourish to its full potential. Today’s skin focus is the VAG, a taboo area not many of us talk about because it’s such a sacred place. So, unspoken of that many of us struggle with ways to give it the proper TLC it needs. All skin matters! Just like the skin on your face and other areas of your body your vag can become dry, cracked, and irritated too. We are sure you don’t want that to happen, so check out the tips below to find out 3 easy ways you can protect your peach.

1.    Wax vs Shaving

Wax it off! Put the razors down ladies! Shaving is so 2000 and late and very harmful to your skin down there. Waxing is the best way to avoid those painful ingrown hairs and it lasts so much longer. Waxing can prevent hair growth for 2-3 weeks and does not cause any irritation or itching as the hair grows back.

Did you know? Shaving your vagina causes the hair to grow back thicker and coarser.

2.    Exfoliate and keep your skin straight

EX-FOLI-ATE. A new routine to add to your showers that will take as little as 15 seconds and it's super beneficial to keeping your vag protected.  A simple circular scrub can make all the difference before a fresh wax. Exfoliating helps prevent skin irritation and ingrown hairs by removing dead skin cells and debris that may lie on the surface of the skin.

Did you know? You can also exfoliate your vag after a wax to keep the skin smooth and to promote thinner hairs.

3.    Moisturize in between the thighs

Ladies, it is okay to moisture your Va-Jay-Jay, only if you are using quality products. Before applying a moisturizer be sure to cleanse the skin area so no dirt is on the surface (Witch Hazel is good for cleansing the skin). Essential products like Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, and Shea Butter are great for preventing dry skin down there. Not only do they moisturize the area, but they have great benefits and can be used to moisturize other areas of the body as well.

Did you know? Olive oil has Vitamin E to help heal and nourish the skin.

So there you have it! 3 easy tips to help protect your peach and you didn't even have to ask or say the "V-word" no one talks about. Try these tips at home and we promise your peach will thank you later.
