PNB Rock Drops Freestyle To Popular Kanye Track

It was only two and a half years ago when Philadelphia bred rapper, PnB Rock was releasing his mixtape, RnB 2. The mixtape went on to become popular and a favorite among his hometown. Fast forward to now, PnB Rock is a premier name among the Philly rap scene along with fellow artists: Meek Mill, Lil Uzi Vert and Kur. Now, PnB Rock is signed to Atlantic Records and has been making music with Fetty Wap. Rock dropped the highly anticipated RnB 3 back in the fall of 2015 but he has been dropping tracks and freestyles every once in a while.

Today, PnB Rock released a freestyle to the popular track off of Kanye West’s TLOP album, “Father Please Stretch My Hands.” He named the track, “Stretch My Bandz.” The promotional artwork for the track even mirrors the artwork from the TLOP album. The original track, “Father Please Stretch My Hands” by Kanye West discusses his love for his girl following a disagreement or argument.

However, in PnB Rock’s freestyle version, Rock is asking God for motivational uplift. In addition, PnB Rock reflects on the hardships he had enduring or problems he is currently enduring. The focal point of “Stretch My Bandz” is the concept of using the bad times to mold you into a better person and build ingenuity from it. PnB’s melody and lyrics are used differently than how Kanye portrayed his on the original track. Overall, this is a good track and you should listen to it!
