L.A. To Officially Rename Rodeo Road To Obama Boulevard

Former President Barack Obama will have a street in Los Angeles renamed Obama Boulevard. On May 4th there will be a naming ceremony and street festival to officially change the name.  Last year the City Council voted unanimously to rename Rodeo Road which is close to Crenshaw after a suggestion made back in 2017 by City Council President Herb Wesson.

The festival begins at noon and there is a ticket required click here . The unveiling ceremony is set for 5 p.m. and will include several city officials. There will also be food trucks and performances by Doug E. Fresh, Yo-Yo and BJ The Chicago Kid.
