In this video, Tyra, who is also from California, in the Inglewood area, unveils, in her well known, ANTM phrase “Only two girls stand before me…” Danielle’s magazine cover, alongside Sports Illustrated Editor, MJ Day. Both women, Tyra and MJ, also congratulated Danielle publicly on Instagram.

The story behind Danielle’s cover though is just as amazing as the cover girl looks on the front page of the magazine.
Like Sports Illustrated Editor, MJ Day said, Danielle went from a rookie last year to being on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2018 issue all within a years time!! This all happened in a years time, and there hasn’t been a black woman on the cover in 11 years!
“I dedicate this to all the young girls out there. Work hard, surround yourself with good people who believe in you and your DREAMS WILL COME TRUE!” - Danielle Herrington.
Danielle looks fierce, free, and like she is enjoying life right now!
