Now, It’s Official: Jay-Z New Project Dropping Soon

Hov can’t seem to stay out of the news headlines right now! He’s bailed fathers out for Father’s Day (June 18), been inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame (June 15), and on top of that, THE TWINS ARE HERE (June 18)!

We’re back again just for an update!

Remember that ‘4:44’ ad floating around Times Square and Manhattan, NY? Many fans wondered if Jay was making a comeback, well…its’s finally confirmed.

Via Twitter, Tidal released the same visual video it did almost a week ago, except this time, instead of just the instrumental beat, Jay-Z’s vocals chime in. So, after all, ‘4:44’ is about Jay-Z, we repeat, JAY IS COMING.

It’s real.Tidal attached Jay’s Twitter account, @S_C_, to the vid.

Just to review, the video stars Mahershala Ali boxing, while Danny Glover holds the punching bag. In the background, Jay-Z raps “letter to my dad that I never wrote, speeches I preparedthat I never spoke”, and we don’t want to give you too much because clearly, clues are the only Carter way.

Tidal gave us June 30th as a date for what Hov has got coming. Other clues include that the project is exclusive to the partnership of Sprint and Tidal users.

Thank goodness that we just finally know it’s H-O-V!
