Beyonce WILL Perform At The Grammy Awards!
All Hail Beyonce! Queen Bey has been full of surprises these past couples of weeks. First with the announcement that she will be headlining Coachella, days after, announcing that she is pregnant with not one baby, but twins; currently it has been confirmed the singer will also be performing at the Grammys this year.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Bey was spotted Thursday (Feb. 2) rehearsing for the Grammys with her dancers in Los Angeles. “The 35-year-old singer was spotted on Thursday rehearsing at a secret location in Los Angeles, California, with a glam squad, camera crew and her team of dancers all in tow,” an ET rep explains.
The news comes 24 hours after Queen Bey broke the internet that she and husband Jay-Z are expecting twins: "We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over," Beyoncé wrote on Instagram. "We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. - The Carters."
Beyoncé is the leading nominee at the Feb. 12 show with nine nods, including album of the year for Lemonade and record of the year for "Formation." Bey last performed at the awards show in 2015, when she sang the gospel standard "Take My Hand, Precious Lord" as part of a musical salute to the movie Selma.
Other artists to hit this year’s GRAMMY stage include The Weeknd, who is set to perform with Daft Punk, as well as Alicia Keys and Maren Morris, who will also collaborate on a duet. Legendary hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest will also perform with 15-time GRAMMY winner Dave Grohl and Anderson .Paak, who is nominated for two GRAMMYs, including Best New Artist.
The 2017 GRAMMYs will air on CBS on Sunday, Feb. 12, at 8 p.m. ET.
