Kanye West And Kid Cudi Are Friends Again!
If you haven’t heard already, Kanye and Kid Cudi have been going through a bit of a feud over the past couple of weeks that has stunned the Hip Hop world. Kanye, as usual, has been going on a rant over the “Day and Night” rapper for expressing his feelings via twitter about Kanye, Drake and whomever else calls themselves “great” but uses other people to write their lyrics. Since then social media has been in a frenzy over the back and forth between the two rappers. The tension has been thick until Tuesday night at Kanye’s Saint Pablo tour show in Houston, Ye’ apologized to Cudi for his words and apparently “squashed” the beef. Kanye called Kid Cudi his “brother” and referred to him as “the most important artist of the past 10 years” over a piano interlude. “Kid Cudi is my brother and I hope he’s doing well… the most influential artist of the past 10 years” he exclaimed in front of thousands of people as he paused his show for a moment to shout out Cudi.
West signed Cudi to his G.O.O.D. Music label in 2008 and the two have been friends ever since, even collaborating on Kanye’s 808s & Heartbreak album.
Whether or not Drake agrees with Ye’, in the meantime, the Ye’ vs. Cudi beef is history and they can go back to making mainstream music for us all. Congrats to them both for settling this in such a manner that didn’t create and violence.
