Ludacris’ “LudaDay” Weekend

This past weekend has been filled with festivities everywhere. If you were in your house all weekend or didn’t have any plans, that’s just too bad, maybe next year! Between Labor Day, Made in America in Philadelphia, and Beyonce’s 35th birthday party, everyone should be on some sort of detox from all of the partying that took place. Apparently, Ludacris hosted his own his very own Labor Day celebration for everyone to enjoy in ATL. The rapper held his 11th annual LudaDay Weekend in Atlanta this past weekend and brought many stars out for the celebration. Celebrities like Chris Brown, Teyana Taylor, Lorenz Tate, Terrance J, Rick Ross, Michael B. Jordan, and more attended the festivities and helped raise funds.

There is no celebrity weekend like this one. The yearly festival is a series of events and takes place over the Labor Day Weekend, every year, to help raise funds in support of Ludacris Foundation. Events including a golf tournament, a bowling event, and Sunday’s celebrity basketball game, with Team Ludacris and Team MMG going head to head, had everyone enjoying themselves this weekend, mixing partying with fundraising, which is always a great way to give back to the community.

According to Bossip.com, in 2014, LudaDay Weekend raised over $200,000! “The Ludacris Foundation focuses on the core values of Wellness, Diversity, Culture and Arts in the community and specifically among youths. The foundation has worked diligently to rebuild Atlanta’s community through initiatives such as green planting and incorporating handicap access rails”, Bossip continues.
