Kendall Jenner Has Made It To Vogue
The Kardashian/Jenner sisters have stolen everyone’s heart over the past few years with their reality show displaying very personal moments of their life, and each of the sisters featuring on famous magazines for the world to see. After months of suspicion, Vogue has announced who’s starring on their September issue for 2016. And it’s our very own sweetheart Kendall Jenner. Kendall, who is the second to youngest sister, has always had a dream of being a model and has landed her biggest dream of walking in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show in 2015. Now, she gets to put another “notch in her belt” being on the cover of Vogue magazine, which is not an easy gig to get. The cover, which features Jenner (who is only 20-years-old) in a mariachi-inspired Gucci ensemble, is the model's first September issue and her first official Vogue cover ever. How exciting!
She wrote via Instagram “I F***ING DID IT. SEPTEMBER VOGUE. this is the coolest thing ever! can't thank you enough Anna, for giving me the honor.”, expressing how thrilled she was being featured on the cover.
She has gone from and aspiring runway model to a Vogue cover girl in less than 2 years and her family couldn’t be any more than proud. Kylie (the youngest sister) also celebrated her 19th birthday this past Wednesday, which made a sensational week for the Kardashian/Jenner girls. Kendall’s sister Kim Kardashian told Vogue “She had her eyes focused on exactly what she wanted to do, and she made it happen”.
Her mother Kris expressed her love and excitement via Twitter on Thursday morning giving the young star much support.
Kendall has expressed before that because her whole family are in the limelight, people think her work comes easy to her, but in fact it makes her craft harder and she has earned everything she has accomplished. This issue has proved she’s not just flourishing off her family’s fame.
