He was the one who introduced the major term, “Major Key.” Fast forward to July, Khaled released his ninth studio album, Major Key. This album has numerous features that include Bryson Tiller, Future, Drake, Jay-Z, Travis Scott, J Cole, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and Jadakiss, to name a few.

The speculation for the album increased heavily after this picture appeared on various social media outlets (Twitter and Instagram). Little did people know that this was the promo for the second single, “I Got the Keys.” “I Got the Keys” was released shortly after “For Free” in June. The song featured hip-hop legend and mogul, Jay-Z along with Future.

Over the past years, Khaled has surpassed other DJs (Cannon, Drama, Funkmaster Flex) in terms of popularity, production and personality. His charisma is infectious to other artists and fans as he provides the “Keys to Success.” His popularity has grown since 2005 when he only worked primarily with Rick Ross and Fat Joe.

Major Key, is an all-around great album that contains high-quality production and notable guest features. The album can be downloaded on iTunes.
