Fat Joe To Open Sneaker Store In NYC Tomorrow
Rapper, Fat Joe, is one of the most influential sneaker heads in hip hop, and now he is planning to open a sneaker store in NYC partnered with 19-year-old young man Scotty Spina. UP NYC, (store name), “will come equipped with an amazing array of some of the most sought after Jordan releases of the past couple of years,” and apparently is expected to “deliver and then some,” according to sneakernews.com.
Scotty Spina is a New Jersey native who has made himself the sneaker plug for artist such as Dj Khaled, Future, French Montana, Jay Z and more! According to Hotnewhiphop.com, Scotty “got his big break a few years ago when New York Giants running back, Brandon Jacobs inquired about a pair of sneakers posted on Scotty Kicks' IG account and things just escalated from there.”
The Terror Squad owner is showing out with his sneaker fetish, making The Supreme x Air Jordan 5 “Desert Camo” available for purchase as well as Air Jordan 4, and Air Jordan 11 selections.
Joe has been on social media such as twitter promoting the store and its first grand opening. "It’s gonna be a store within a store," Fat Joe said. "It’s gonna be like a museum that no one’s ever done before; this is one of one."
The grand opening will be held on Saturday, November 5th, the store will be located at 3806 Broadway.
