Big Sean Confirms New “Twenty88” Album With Jhene Aiko For 2017
Big Sean may have put interviews on hold, but he is sure to keep the music coming for his fans and has a surprise for next year. There has been speculations going around about rapper Big Sean releasing an album with singer Jhene Aiko, and now it has been confirmed! The rapper took to twitter to confirm his collaborative project “Twenty88” with R&B singer/boo Jhene, which will be coming in 2017. This album will be the follow up to Twenty88’s self-titled debut that released in March earlier this year. Talk about a big year for the couple. Sean also inferred that he and the singer will be releasing solo projects next year, tweeting “We gon get our solo’s off too though.”
Sean seems to be getting all of his fans prepared for the debut releasing tracks such as “No More Interviews” and “Bounce Back”, while Aiko hasn’t released any sneak peeks or teaser to what she’s creating.
The couple have been dating for some time now and this album will just put icing on the rumor cake. Without anything being confirmed from the two parties, all the media has seen is pictures of the two “boo-loving” and cute interactions between the two on social media. Now the only question is how much of their relationship will they talk about on the album?
According to Billboard, “Sean's forthcoming project already reveals that he's been cooking up new material with Metro Boomin, Yung Berg and Amaire Johnson, who produced Sean's "One Man Can Change The World."”
Big Sean also reveal he reached out to hip hop heavy hitters Rick Rubin and Jay Z to help fine-tune his forthcoming album.
