A New Company In The Works For Michael B. Jordan!

Michael B. Jordan has just launched his own production company and signed a major deal. The 29-year-old actor and now executive producer has just recently signed a multi-year television and production deal with Skydance Media. The Creed and Fruitville Station star, has a new project in the works after the deal was made final.

Skydance Media was the one to announce the exclusive agreement for both television and feature film production with Michael B. Jordan and his newly formed production company Outlier Productions.

His first project under Outlier Productions is a film titled Apollo Park, which will be about a young basketball player's rapid rise to professional fame and the effects of his success on his family and community back in inner-city Detroit. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jordan commented on his excitement about the upcoming movie Apollo Park:

"I love telling true, modern stories and Apollo Park — an underdog tale about a very real and very heroic hustler who defies stereotypes and thrives against great odds — has long been a passion project of mine. Eric and I are excited to join forces with the incredible creative team at Skydance to share it with the world"

Eric Amadio, whose FX drama, Snowfall, was just picked up to series, along with Michael B. Jordan co-created Apollo Park with Jordan. In the interview Jordan also described how him and Amadio will both write and executively produce the series along with others at Skydance Media.

Besides his new company, Jordan will also be starring as the villain Erik Killmonge in Marvel’s Black Panther. The film is set to air in 2018. Michael B. Jordan has been hard at work and making major career moves these past years. There are truly no limits to Jordan’s ambition in the film industry.
